The "Chicken Tikka" is just wonderfully delicious: all ingredients are perfectly matched and fragrantly and delicately seasoned, the naan bread is airy as a cloud! In addition, very friendly hosts! Highly recommended!

First time in Ingolstadt and went to the worst Indian restaurant in the city. The quality of the food was pathetic first of all and it’s taste was even worst. Secondly the ambience out there was quite unpleasant and unfriendly. The staff working there was very impudent towards the customer which was quite disheartening to see. Overall an unforgettable experience. Won’t visit here again.

I found the offer extremely appealing. The staff is always very diligent and courteous at all times! The tables in the restaurant were immaculately cleaned and the seating was particularly comfortable. I think my partner and I have already ordered the entire menu up and down . The meal was served extremely quickly.

I felt like I am in India when I had food at Taj Mahal. Such a awesome and pleasant environment. The food was really great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, it's a great experience at Taj Mahal.

Delicious and cozy

I travel a lot and I have been to India quite often. It is very hard to find authentic Indian cuisine outside of India (except for places like Durban, England, British Columbia...). Most places „germanize“ their food that it tastes just like cream/ butter without the typical Indian flavors and spices. Indian food means an explosion in your mouth...spicy meets sweet and hot, and sour and so on at the same time within one spoon of something. I told the friendly waiter that I have high expectations and that I would like to have the authentic level of chili/ herbs/ spices. They nailed it! I tried two other Indian Restaurants in Ingolstadt and I chose the exact same dish to be able to compare: Paneer Makhani. My wife took the Jhinga Masala with Prawns and loved it as well. The Garlic Naan Bread and the Raita were perfect side dishes and we got a Chai for free after dinner. Thank you, we will definitely come back! Best Indian Restaurant in Ingolstadt!!!

Superb hotel pls visit ... Really do visit

My sisters and I find the restaurant suitable for all occasions - irrelevant whether with a colleague, acquaintance or family; ). In my view, a detour here is fully recommended. A lot of delicacies are there for palate lovers. The quantities are an appealing and filling league. Really quick and friendly service. I think all the staff there did a very good job.

Authentic flavors, cozy atmosphere and incredible execution elevate this restaurant into a league far greater than it's location in a modestly sized German town would suggest.

Good Indian restaurant. We usually let the food come, but we were already there. The food is very tasty and the nan bread variations are great. Four stars, because the dishes often consist of sauce rather than content (meat, vegetables, etc.) and it is quite expensive for delivery service prices.

Really friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere but the food really let the place down. Me and my wife dined here on a Friday evening. We were seated without a reservation - that was appreciated. The restaurant was busy and from the onset we realized that the staff were rushed off their feet. Our drinks took 15 minutes to arrive. What we ordered was not served to us. The taali was mis-sold even after we asked in detail what dishes would be served. The lamb was disgusting. There is no other way of putting it. I ordered butter chicken and out came a chicken dish that was nothing of the sort. All the best.

We (2 pers.) Were spontaneously today for lunch in the Indian restaurant Taj Mahal. We were received very friendly and were allowed to choose a place. It would also have lunch buffet, but we wanted to order from the menu. As a starter we shared lentil bread with 4 different sauces. As a main course, Tandoori had chicken with rice, potatoes, salad, pita bread and gravy. As a drink gabs sparkling water. The service was very nice and fast. The food was served hot and was delicious. I am used to the Indian a little shepherd's food, so I would have expected more sharpness. The food was rather mild but still very tasty. ? ... The amount of food was plentiful ... For the bill gabs still a cup Chai ... The prices are also ok ... We will definitely be back.

Taj Mahal is my place for a taste of home whenever I visit Ingolstadt. The ambiance is warm and welcoming and the food tastes so good! Punjabi style cooking and hospitality!

The food was delicious. I liked that they also served salads along with tandoori meat. The taste of the curry was adjusted according to our request. Peaceful ambience. I felt that the food was a bit overpriced. It costed between 70-80€ for 3 people.

Splendid food, spicy is really spicy here! I loved it. Mutton vindaloo is advisable if you like spicy food. Some dishes are served on a banana (?) leaf. Very Indian surroundings to dine in. The service is friendly and obliging. Operated by Punjabi, very advisable. Prices are moderate : Complete dinner for two, main courses, soup , 2 wines, water and desert for 52€.

Taj Mahal is the best in ingolstadt. We visit it often. The variety of indian food and the taste is really very good and delicious. Naan, Butter Chicken, Samosa, Mata Mushroom Paneer, Lamm masala ...we love it very much. Strongly recommend to try it !
